Dear God, I can't do this on my own. I surrender all.

When we hear the phrase “Surrender to God" we might often think that we are going to have to stop “living” somehow.

Surrendering to God doesn't mean that we all of a sudden have no purpose in life. However, some of us have tried to create our own purpose and have surrendered to nothing for a very long time, except our own wills, and all it has done is created one big mess for many.

Jeremiah 29:11 (My life verse) says, "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” He is saying that He has a plan for our lives far beyond our own!

When we are brave enough to give up and surrender our ways of doing things, and trust Him with the details of our lives, He can and will take us far beyond our wildest dreams!

Always remember that Surrendering to God gives us a weapon to use against the enemy. And once we surrender areas of our lives to God, He will empower us to resist the things that truly want to steal from us, lie to us, take from us and ultimately lead us to destruction.

The truth is: we will start to TRULY live with great purpose, passion and power in our lives when we choose to finally surrender all!
