Hey ya’ll, it’s Anita here — I wanted to take a moment to share something really cool with you!
Years ago, Tammy had the incredible opportunity to fly to Santa Monica, CA to record one of the most iconic Beach Boys songs of all time in their studio — “God Only Knows” — with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of a special tribute album. Her sweet vocals, combined with the orchestral arrangement, brought such beauty and emotion to the song.
Even Beach Boys legend Mike Love called it “the best recording outside of The Beach Boys’ original,” which meant the world.
With the sad news of Brian Wilson’s passing at age 82, this song takes on an even deeper meaning. He co-wrote “God Only Knows,” and his music has impacted generations. What a legacy.
If you’ve never heard this version, now’s the perfect time. It’s a moving tribute to the gift of music and the God who inspires it.
PS. And a fun fact, Trent was in the studio by TT’s side for this incredible rendition…prophetic? God knew! God knows!
