Grateful for another year. Grateful for all that God has carried me through. Grateful for where I am today.

When I look back, I see His faithfulness in ways I couldn’t always see in the moment.
And when I look ahead… I feel so much hope.

This next year feels like a fresh, beautiful season—surrounded by the people I love, and stepping into something new with this book releasing in September… 25 years after Trent went to heaven.

That alone just reminds me… God is always working, even when we don’t understand the timing.

There is so much to be thankful for.

And I’m walking into this year believing it’s going to be one of my best yet.

The tomb is empty… and because of that, nothing in our lives has to stay buried - not our hope, not our purpose, not even the parts of us that feel lost.

Jesus didn’t just rise so we could celebrate a moment…He rose so we could live - fully, freely, and alive in Him.

This is the day everything changed.
And it can change everything for you too.

My birthday month starts today… and on April 11th

My birthday month starts today… and on April 11th I’ll be 58. 🎉

I honestly can’t believe it.
I remember being a kid and hearing someone was 58 and thinking, “Wow… they are sooo old.” 😂. Well… here we are. And somehow, I feel more aware than ever of what really matters. 🙌🏼

Where Are You Now, God?

This time last year, I was sitting in my study—day after day, night after night—pouring my heart into every single chapter. And every time I closed my laptop, I prayed the same thing:

“Lord, use this to help someone who is hurting… someone who is asking the hard questions… someone who needs hope.”

Because let’s be honest—
Pain has a way of silencing everything except the questions.

Where are You, God?
Do You see me?
Were You ever there at all?
Why so much pain?

This book is for those moments.

It’s the most vulnerable book I’ve ever written. It’s filled with real stories, honest questions, Scripture and biblical moments that come to life, helping you find God right in the middle of it all—not just after it’s fixed, but while you’re still walking through it, still trying to make sense of it all.

Freedom from trauma.
Freedom from mistrust.
Freedom from shame.
Freedom from guilt.
Freedom from the kind of doubt that tries to take you out.

I don’t know who needs this today…
but you are not behind—not forgotten,
and not disqualified.

Life may not look like what you thought it would. Things may have taken longer.
Some doors may have closed that you were sure would open.

But none of that has disqualified you from what God is doing.

He isn’t rushing to fix your life like something went wrong—

He’s been present in every part of it.

Even here.
Even now.

Trust that what feels delayed to you
is not forgotten by Him.

God doesn’t lose track of time—and He doesn’t lose sight of you.

There’s something sacred about this season…

I’ve felt the ache of misalignment—from people I trusted… and the pain of knowing I needed to step away and resign from something I loved because of it!

At the same time, I’ve experienced the healing that comes from being in alignment—with the people God has surrounding me now. And there’s been something so tender about that in this season.

That tension… of letting go while embracing new… it’s not always easy on the heart.

But when you know God is with you—and for you—somehow the exhale feels a little more freeing.

I’m deeply thankful for the timing of my new book and all that it holds. It was written with so many of our questions in mind—the ones we’ve whispered, wrestled with, cried over, or maybe never said out loud.

And also the hurts we carry… the doubts…
and the unmet expectations.

They all matter.
And they all shape us.

Because those are the very places where the questions rise up…
The moments where we’ve wondered—
“Where are you now, God?” in this?”

I’m counting down the days until I get to place this in your hands—praying it meets you right where you are.

Forgiveness is releasing someone from the hurt the

Forgiveness is releasing someone from the hurt they caused—not because it didn’t matter, but because you’re choosing not to carry it anymore.

It’s not denial.
It’s not pretending.
It’s not minimizing what happened.

It’s a decision—to stop letting the pain define you, to stop rehearsing what broke you, to stop carrying what God never asked you to hold forever.

Because what you don’t release…you relive.

And over time, what hurt you once
can begin to shape you in ways you never intended.

Scripture calls us to forgive—not because it’s easy, but because it frees us.

But forgiveness and reconciliation are not the same.

Reconciliation requires repentance, rebuilding, and trust. Forgiveness requires surrender.

You can forgive completely…and still choose not to reopen the door or give them access to your life.

You can release them…and still protect what God is healing in you.

That’s not hardness.
That’s wisdom.

Forgiveness sets you free.
Boundaries keep you free.

And in that space, you make room for God to heal what only He can.

Christian recording artist, speaker, and television host Tammy Trent has announced the upcoming release of her new book, Where Are You Now, God?, scheduled to arrive September 1, 2026.

The book invites readers into an honest exploration of faith and the difficult spiritual questions that often arise during seasons of suffering.

Known for her transparent storytelling and heartfelt ministry, Trent’s new project addresses one of the most common questions we have all asked in moments of pain: Where is God when life falls apart?

Drawing from personal experience, Scripture, and years of ministry, the book seeks to help readers discover hope and renewed trust in God even when answers seem distant.

Sometimes life takes sudden turns we never saw coming.

The things we thought were certain begin to shift, and we’re left trying to find our footing again.

And with those moments often come questions—questions about what happened, what changed, and what God is doing in the middle of it all.

But here’s the truth: nothing surprises God. He is already present in the next chapter of your life long before you ever arrive there.

So when things feel uncertain, keep trusting Him. He knows the way forward, and He will faithfully meet you in every step ahead.

I wish I could tell you the exact day of the week

I wish I could tell you the exact day of the week the sun will begin to shine again for you… but I can’t.

I don’t know when the ache will loosen its grip. I don’t know when the disappointment will stop replaying in your mind. I don’t know when the promises that broke you will finally stop stinging.

But I do know this — your heart will begin to mend.

Slowly. Quietly. Piece by piece.

And one day, you’ll look in the mirror and recognize yourself again.

Not the shattered version. Not the disappointed version. But the healed, steadied, strengthened version.

Here’s where we often get it wrong though…

Time isn’t your healer. Jesus is.
Time can numb. Time can distract.
Time can cover over wounds that still bleed underneath.

But Jesus goes deeper.

He doesn’t just smooth over the surface so you can function again. He reaches into the places that were crushed by broken promises, untruths and unmet expectations… and He makes something new there.

With Jesus as your healer, you don’t just “move on.” You are remade.

So if you’re in a season where everything feels controlled, uncertain, or painfully out of your hands — hold on.

Where you are is not where you will always be.

God has more.

God has bigger.

God has better.

God has new.

And God is with you.

And what feels like an ending may actually be the beginning of the freedom your heart didn’t even know it needed.

Trust Him!
